For nearly 30 years, Lisa has worked across systems to uplift and support the early childhood and family services workforce. Having played several roles during her career including educator, administrator, coach, leader, consultant, advocate, and social entrepreneur, Lisa brings a deep understanding and appreciation for the contribution that each of us makes in our collective effort to build strong communities. Along with her professional experience, Lisa brings an energy and passion for learning and a deep commitment to personal growth. Her current areas of interest include embodied social justice, the history of Vermont’s social service system, and the study of community resilience. When she is not working or researching, you will find Lisa hanging out in the backyard with her partner, Matt, and their two dogs Roy and Ruby, chatting on the phone with her adult children, or riding a motorcycle through Vermont’s countryside.
